    The Role

    As Manager of Deliveries for DHX Television, you will be the main point of contact for all assets in a linear and non-linear environment. Ensuring assets make it on time to our 4 broadcast channels and over-seeing the Multiplatform VOD client relations, specifically in onboarding new and existing clients.


    You will get to:

    • Oversee the delivery process and ensure all assets make it on time and in the proper format for air in both linear and non-linear platforms
    • Organize broadcast schedules received by the Programming department and responsible for assigning work to be edited and transcoded by the Digital Services team
    • Main point of contact to support Programming department in library assets
    • Responsible for any technical rejections received by Master Control and VOD client services
    • Manage all Signiant and Aspera deliveries and responsible for onboarding new and existing clients to delivery platforms
    • Coordinate with technical workflow specialists in any new specifications received from clients
    • Coordinate with development team on any new meta data workflow updates received from clients
    • Responsible for all asset deliveries assigned to Family App and workflows assigned
    • Collaborate with Content and Library teams on arrival of new assets
    • Project manage the needs and expectations of new and existing client relations
    • Support in Master Control activity and other special projects as required


    You will be a great fit on our team if you have...

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Media and/or Broadcast environment 
    • Minimum of 1 year experience managing a team 
    • Possess a strong technical background
    • Be the expert in developing ideas for delivery efficiencies and workflow specifications
    • A proven inspirational manager who has the ability to influence with tact
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leaders at all levels in a cross functional capacity
    • Experienced with strategic planning with other departments
    • Experienced in onboarding with Signiant Manager Enterprise and Aspera Console Manager is considered a key asset
    • Strong analytical, communication, organizational skills and attention to detail 
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Database platforms, Media Asset Management systems and scheduling softwares
    • Understanding of editing/post production, Avid workflows and large data storage facilities an asset
    • Bi-lingual in French an asset

    Specific skills we would love to see

    • Must have experience in working in an operations or broadcast background and have a strong understanding of the television industry and delivery platforms.
