    Responsibilities

    You will get to:

    • Be responsible for the processing of 5 biweekly payrolls using UltiPro software;
    • Review and verify data to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and statutory requirements, employment agreements, payroll policies and procedures;
    • Process expense reimbursements and current/retro payments for salary/rate changes as required;
    • Validate that deductions and adjustments are correctly processed, and calculate manual gross to net payments when necessary;
    • Process ROE’s;
    • Reconcile group benefit deductions and RRSP contributions against provider enrolment and participation records;
    • Respond to queries;
    • Contact payroll provider for any related issues with pay as needed;
    • Create new hire files and manage filing for documents received in payroll;
    • Process T4 and all related year-end activities;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    You will be a great fit on our team if you possess…

    • At least 3 years' work experience as a payroll administrator;
    • Solid expertise with online payroll management systems is required; UltiPro payroll experience is preferred;
    • Thorough understanding of group benefits programs and their administration;
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required;
    • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail;
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (listening, verbal and written);
    • "Can-do" attitude, strong client/customer service orientation;
    • Highly effective organizational skills, combined with the ability to multitask and prioritize on a daily and weekly basis to meet set and changing deadlines;
    • High degree of business and personal sensitivity, utmost discretion and confidentiality;
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
