    The Role

    Reporting to the Director, Creative Services, the Production Coordinator is part of a small and dynamic creative team responsible for creating effective on-air promotions for the Family Channel, Family Junior, Telemagino and CHRGD. The Production coordinator is responsible for coordinating workflow in the creative process while maintaining content accuracy and quality control of all creative assets.

    Responsibilities

    You will get to:

    • Coordinate the importing and delivery of media assets for On-Air Promotion Producers and Graphic Designers
    • Package and export show lifts and clips with appropriate network branding for all platforms.
    • Coordinate projects that require the acquisition of crew for filming, track production budget, casting, equipment rentals and overall production management.
    • Acquire digital media such as logos, show imagery, trailers from studios and media contributors for use in a variety of internal and external applications.
    • Manage library of interview files and shoot footage ensuring that all assets are catalogued and archived
    • Supervise post audio sessions and voice talent
    • Collaborate with internal and external stake holders including marketing and sales to ensure all deadlines are met
    • Work with Director, Creative Services to facilitate information flow, track project elements and ensure delivery for all departmental requests
    • Various administrative and coordinating tasks
    • Ad hoc duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    You will be a great fit on our team if you have…

    • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in promotion and/or media production environment
    • Familiarity with media file formats, conversion and transcoding processes
    • Strong communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to initiate and problem solve
    • Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently and meet tight deadlines
    • Proven ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues and customers
    • Can work flexible hours if necessary
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Word required
    • A passion for entertainment and television
    • Experience working with AVID an asset
    • Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
