    WildBrain is an industry leader in the management and creation of preschool and children’s entertainment content on platforms such as YouTube, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire and others. WildBrain’s branded YouTube network is one of the largest of its kind, featuring more than 145,000 videos for over 600 kids’ brands in up to 22 languages. One in three kids worldwide with access to YouTube watch video on the WildBrain network, which has over 75 million subscribers, and generated over 161 billion minutes of watch time across 32 billion views in 2018. Connecting kids’ content owners with advertisers in the Advertising Video-on-Demand (AVOD) space, the WildBrain network features popular third-party brands such as Fireman Sam, Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, Shopkins, Irish Fairy Doors and Ben 10; original brands Kiddyzuzaa and Ellie Sparkles; and much of DHX Media’s world-renowned library of 13,000 half-hours of kids’ and family content, including Peanuts, Teletubbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Caillou, Inspector Gadget, Degrassi, Yo Gabba Gabba! and many others. WildBrain Studios also specializes in the creation of new, original content for its network, such as animated and live-action shorts; toy-play and stop-motion videos.     DHX Media's WildBrain seeks an experienced Account Executive to sell national and local advertising, sponsorships, and branded content across WildBrain's YouTube Channels.

    You will get to:

    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
    • Provide an accurate, detailed weekly sales funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales.
    • Generate new business through cold calling and agency visits, while upholding the WildBrain / DHX Media brand.
    • Present, negotiate and close sales campaigns, promotions and sponsorship opportunities to new and/or existing clients.
    • Provide outstanding customer service to new and existing clients including helping to develop creative solutions for clients marketing needs.
    • Represent WildBrain in the highest regard within the marketplace and further develop the WildBrain name and image.
    • Nurture the customer relationships for your assigned territory. Gain consultative trust with key decision-makers, retain existing revenue and drive additional business.
    • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the kids YouTube and digital media landscape , social media, mobile, emerging trends and marketing to youth.


    What we're looking for:

    • A minimum of 4 years’ combined experience in digital media sales and/or digital media planning role;
    • Experience selling advertising, sponsorships, promotional and branded content programs; specifically in children’s, family and YouTube advertising an asset;
    • Experience in educating new advertisers on the benefits of transitioning from traditional media to digital marketing strategies;
    • Demonstrated understanding of the online advertising industry;
    • Able to develop a sales pipeline
    • Proven track record of sales success; strong industry contacts and established relationships with relevant marketing and advertising partners, potential sponsors, media planners and buyers;
    • Ability to develop areas of new opportunity;
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills are a must;
    • Detail-oriented with superb organizational and computer skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel); proven ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations;
    • Enthusiastic, creative and positive team player with strong interpersonal skills
    • Able to multi-task and manage numerous time sensitive projects.
    • Familiarity with the usage and understanding of Google analytics, ad serving and delivery
    • Experience in building a book of business, ensuring the management and fulfillment of strategic targets, and in developing associated agreements.
    • Independent self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and with the ability to thrive in a team environment
